Like I said before, I personally feel that home is where the heart is.

I think all the lines in my map resembles an asterisk. And in way, my life is like that. I feel like my personality goes in all different directions. My desires and interests are everywhere. That's what makes me indecisive because I want to do everything. In another sense, I don't ever feel that home is one place. I easily adapt to the location I'm in, and I find the familiar in that place. Yeah, I was born in Houston and lived there all my life until college. But when I go home even now, the only thing I have there is the feeling of familiarity. Yes, I know the streets, the restaurants, the stores, etc. But, I don't feel at home there anymore. I've attached my personal negative ideas with it--suburban area, boredom, and the like.

I feel more at home when I'm somewhere foreign, new, and unfamiliar. Isn't that weird? I feel like a drifter and a chameleon--a nomad blending into my surroundings.
